Deborah Rhea
Seehorn was born on May 12, 1972. She is known best for her role as attorney
Kim Wexler in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-present), for which she is twice
winner of the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress for Series,
Miniseries or Television Film. She's also appeared on the NBC miniseries
Whitney (2011)-2013 and ABC's I'm with Her(2003)-2004 and TNT's Franklin
& Bash (2011)-2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn was born in Norfolk, Virginia,
on May 12 on the 12th of May, 1972. Her mother was the executive assistant for
the United States Navy, while her father worked as an agent for the Naval
Investigative Service; her family moved frequently throughout her childhood,
living in Washington, D.C. and Arizona, as well as in Japan. Following in the
footsteps of her father and grandmother She was interested in painting, drawing
and architecture at an early age. As she continued to pursue her love of the
art of the visual, she found a passion for acting. She was also introduced to
modern theatre at the time of her college. She graduated with a BA in Studio
Art from George Mason University in 1994. Seehorn, who was a student she wanted
to pursue a career in theater after being urged by her acting professor. She
tried to gain attention through various ancillary jobs in D.C. theater. She
ended up getting some significant performances in local theater however, she
had for odd jobs in order to earn a living She was also cast in several short
instructional films. She soon was able to find roles in television productions.
She was often seen in roles that were "very humorous and humorous"
similar to her role model Bea Arthur. Many of these roles were removed after
just two or three seasons. Seehorn was cast as Kim Wexler in the Breaking Bad
prequel series Better Call Saul in May 2014. Seehorn plays Kim Wexler, who is a
lawyer and the love of Jimmy McGill/SaulGoodman (Bob Odenkirk).
